Dear Parent/Guardian:

    We are nearing the end of our 2009-2010 school year with only 17 days of school left. Albemarle School has many activities and celebrations scheduled for this month. Please make every effort to participate with your child in these activities.
Our Chicken Fry Fundraiser is Friday, May 7th from 11:00 – 2:00 and 4:00 – 7:00. Tickets are $7.00. If you have not purchased your tickets or would like to help, please call the office.
The May 17, 2010 Board of Directors Meeting is a special meeting for Albemarle School. We will have our School Family Meeting. This will be your opportunity to meet those people who wish to be on our school board. The meeting will be at 6:00 PM in the gym. Please come out as the people voted in that evening will be some of your board members for the next three years.
Graduation Day will be May 28th at 7:00 PM in the gym. Please come out and support our 13 seniors as they enjoy a big day in their lives and open the door to another journey.
Our school yearbook arrived at school last week. If you did not pre-order one and would like to purchase one, please contact Ms. Pritchard at school. The cost of the yearbook is $45.00.
We are still taking registration for summer care for students in K-5. The summer program would run from June 1st until August 6th. Hours would be from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Cost would be $25.00 a day or $100.00 per week.
If you know of any students who have not registered for the 2010-2011 school year, please encourage them to do so as we make plans for next year. School reopens on August 18th.
